Compass Health understands that quality healthcare is a result of quality education. The company provides a very unique opportunity for individuals seeking a Certified Nurses Assistant Certification. Healthcare educators and experienced nurses lead a 3 month training program that allows students to earn their CNA license. 
This program is unique because it allows students hands-on training in a real healthcare institution. Real life scenarios give students the skills and composure they will need to become competent, compassionate caregivers in a long-term care setting — a career with practically endless opportunities.
Another bonus? Students in the Compass Health CNA program get paid to learn! Students work regular shifts, acquire valuable skills and tools for their career, and earn a wage just like any other Compass Health employee. What is a C.N.A.?
A C.N.A. is a Certified Nursing Assistant who assists with providing care to patients in environments such as skilled nursing facilities, acute care hospitals and home-health agencies.
What do C.N.A.s do?
A C.N.A.’s duties can be summed up in four words: Certified Nursing Assistants CARE. While caring for patients, C.N.A.s assist patients with “Activities of Daily Living”, monitoring vital signs, dietary concerns, and in general, assisting licensed medical professionals with important health procedures.
Does training to be a C.N.A. cost anything?
On the contrary. You receive a paycheck as you learn your new skill! Also, receiving your certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant is just the beginning for a lot of our recruits. With endless opportunities for advancement, being a C.N.A. is usually just the beginning for our dedicated trainees.
How long does training take?
In just eight to twelve weeks, you will complete the training required to obtain a State Certificate in this important and in-demand medical field.
