Mark Woolpert is a true champion in health care
by devoting his life and efforts to leading the
elderly of San Luis Obispo County in the pursuit
of optimum health care services. He has served San
Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County seniors
since 1976, concentrating his law practice in the
specialty of elder law. He has gained a state and
national reputation as an expert on seniors’
needs, has authored several books on the subject,
and is a frequent guest speaker, addressing the
legal needs of the elderly. Today he is Chairman
of the Board and President of Compass Health, Inc.,
a San Luis Obispo County corporation that manages
six skilled nursing facilities and two assisted
living facilities on the California Central Coast.
Additionally, at Mark’s request, Compass Health,
Inc. has offered scholarships and facility sites
as training grounds for Cuesta College’s Certified
Nursing Assistant program. Mark’s focus for
the year 2007 and beyond is to educate the community
regarding Long Term Care and our growing elderly
population. |
